    Profit Sharing Bonus is nice. Work-from-home flexibility is nice (now due to Covid).
    USED TO BE a great place to work when the company was smaller and could operate on their own. Now that they were bought by Belcan and are under their management - HUGE difference. Better read the Belcan company reviews on Glassdoor.


    Company process for Job Performance/Reviews is terrible. They surprise you with criticism for small one-time incidents without any prior discussion with you. They don't train their supervisors on how to be a Leader. They have lots of "Talks" about Leadership - but they DON'T "Walk the Talk".
    People seem to leave for lack of opportunity for growth. Before hiring in with this company in 2015, I worked for a top corporation as a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer - leading an international group of 10 testers on large automated test projects (unfortunately the company moved). At Base2, I worked by myself on manual testing - I never had any growth opportunity (I think I moved backwards).
    This company also does a lot of "reorganizations" - every year I had a different supervisor.

    Its a shame that you sold out to the big corporate world. This company was great when you were able to treat employees respectfully (almost like family) - but now you treat your employees like a "number". I'm so disappointed in the huge change of culture and values in the 5 years I was with Base2 Solutions. You broke my trust (and heart) in 2019 after I had given so much beyond my job to this company to help make the Brea office a great place to work. Then you laid me off during COVID-19 after you stopped giving me work - which was really due to a review by a terrible supervisor. My advice includes training your supervisors on what it means to be part of Leadership. Their job is to help their employees succeed in their job - not tear them down by minute criticisms. Example: On my review was that in 2019 I didn't return an email within 24 hrs (even though I was under critical pressure on 3 simultaneous project deadlines) - this was a single incident, not on ongoing problem. Absolutely ridiculous process of job performance reviews. When I argued about this criticism (and others) - I became a doomed employee (regardless of my previous 5 years of excellent reviews). This is an unfortunate example of how you truly don't support your employees anymore. I'm so sad when I think of how great this company used to be - and how far it has fallen :(
