    Pluspunten

    Talented and passionate people (mostly at the bottom of the ranks)
    Big clients with the potential for some exciting work

    Minpunten

    Huge divide between upper management and the rest of the company, this has been made even more obvious during covid times with the cliquey all company calls on zoom highlighting that upper management are 'doing their bit' to help keep the company afloat - yet there were dozens put on furlough and lots of redundancies.

    Lots of money spent on transformation of the company yet no money invested in the people in the form of training or payrises (frozen during Covid 19 yet Iris are still hiring full time staff and freelancers!)

    No real progression in the company unless you are mates with people at the top and its very much a case of 'He who shouts loudest' rather than the most talented that gets heard.

    Us and them culture where each team is protective of their work rather than working together to produce the best work they can - more often than not a creative brief will be amazing in the first few meetings and then get diluted when it comes to production.

    Advies aan management

    Management need to look at themselves, in the all company meetings stop saying "we are in danger of working in silo" "we need to change culture", 'we are amazing but we could be doing this..." The route of the problem starts from the very top and most people below know it.

    Rather than hide behind "we" management should allow some of these teams to be more vocal about what the issues are with culture in the company rather than the pathetic questionnaires that the people team send out.

    Remember who helps the company make money even when you are happy to suck the life out of their careers!
