- Super strong sense of purpose and mission within the company - A strong team of great people - While Audicus is a later-stage company, there's a lot of opportunity for people to contribute in different ways to drive the business -- this creates nice development opportunities for employees looking to expand their skill sets

Minpunten

- While its been around for over 10 years, it still has a start-up culture ... this is not really a con, but something to be aware of. It's a fast-paced, high-octane environment that may not be a great fit for people used to super-well defined and narrow roles found in large companies.

The one shining star and silver lining of this company was the friends I made along the way. The close knit friendships I formed that still exist to this day I cherish so dearly and that is the one thing that this company has provided that I will thank them for. Quite literally, they have zero other pros they can offer.

Minpunten

Leadership and C-suite at this company is wildly mismanaged and an absolute nightmare. The sales team is plagued by unrealistic goals and is pushed to make dangerous sales. The customer service team is underpaid, understaffed, and set up to fail, all while expected to reach ridiculous KPIs. There is no HR department to speak of and no interdepartmental accountability to speak of. They love to promise promotions under the guise of additional pay — instead you’re likely to get more work, new responsibilities, new title… but same pay. My advice - stay away.

We also want to address some of your concerns directly. We’re committed to setting realistic, achievable KPIs across all departments, informed by historical performance and regularly reviewed. Many team members have met or exceeded these goals, and we provide ongoing training and coaching to support their success. We recognize that as a startup, some roles evolve quickly and can come with growing responsibilities. While that pace can be challenging, we aim to ensure that changes in scope are aligned with compensation and career development opportunities — and we’re actively working to improve clarity and transparency around promotions and pay structures. Regarding HR: while we may not have a traditional large HR team, we have dedicated people operations staff and take employee concerns seriously. We maintain an open-door policy and offer multiple ways to share feedback, including both confidential and anonymous channels. Creating a safe, respectful workplace is a priority for us, and we're always working to strengthen support and accountability across the organization.
