Being with students is great. Good quality classrooms, decent technology. Campus is a wildlife refuge. Opportunities for paid continued learning every semester.
Minpunten
No benefits for PT. No office space for PT. No job security. You are expected to do all the work of a Full Time professor but not paid for any of the time. I worked an average of 25 hours a week & was paid for 8. Any student w/ a grudge can get you in trouble. Very little support from admin - even when you have proof to back you up, they take the student's side b/c of the $. No real chance of getting Full Time. They almost always hire from outside the college.
