Central Logic has really expanded its place in the market with two acquisitions and adjusting its offerings to better match the hospital system’s needs. While headquartered in St. Paul, they employee people across the country and also have offices in Utah, Mass, and Neb. Central Logic makes an effort to keep the whole company informed on company direction and progress, leveraging a short weekly standup for this purpose and another short weekly meeting focused on the combined company employees getting to know each other. The latter is real useful for three companies and other net new employees that have come together. COVID has made us have to switch to working from home and there currently isn’t plans to go back to being in the office all the time. This has removed the commute for me which has provided more productive work time and contributed to a much better work/life balance. The pay seems to be average to above average and benefits are competitive. One big positive is the work we are doing. The product/services/solution we provide helps hospital systems better serve their population. Something to be proud of.

Communication can be a challenge with multiple companies coming together. Leveraging Slack and other tools helps take care of this but it is something a new person would want to get their arms around.
