      Decent people to work with. Very highly regarded. The work produced has a lit of impact.

      Minpunten

      Workload, it is unrelenting. They have not finished one report and they're starting to plan for the next, while twling frazzled staff to relax. Then there is the monthly Committee meetings, and stakehilder engagement. There is not much of me left to give at the end of the week. Secretariat are lovely, but the Committee heads have an upstairs, downstairs attitude.

      Really flexible work culture: lots of people fully remote/compressed hours/part time Great colleagues: everyone really passionate and hard working Interesting work as an analyst: scope to have a big impact in shaping the CCC's advice

      Minpunten

      Poor project management, so always have unnecessarily stressful periods coming up to deadlines (fortunately don't have too many of these) Recent obsession with external/public comms and how CCC will be seen in the media Very limited opportunities for progression, most people do the job a few years and then leave in order to get promoted
