I cannot stress enough how much I regret wasting my time working here. This was, without a doubt, the worst professional experience I’ve ever had. The senior leadership team is utterly incompetent, and the company is being driven into the ground by individuals who lack the skills, vision, and integrity needed to lead. Thankfully the chief commercial officer and senior HR manager has now left which may calm the company a little but I suspect the damage is too rooted to recover. The CEO’s continued presence at the top is baffling, considering his history of poor decision-making and track record of mismanaging companies. Despite the exit of multiple senior leaders and constant restructuring, there is still no real accountability or change at the very top. The company is hemorrhaging talent, with employee turnover at alarming rates, yet the leadership remains unfazed. The investors, unfortunately, appear blind to the dysfunction that’s rotting the core of the business. What’s most concerning is the total lack of a realistic business plan or growth strategy. The so-called “value creation plan” is a joke, with no tangible goals, no solid execution plan, and no understanding of what it takes to actually grow a company. The targets set by the company are entirely out of touch with reality, and employees are left scrambling to meet goals that are both unattainable and poorly communicated. The toxic culture perpetuated by the narcissistic CFO and other senior leaders made working there unbearable. They fostered an environment of confusion, fear, and disorganization, and it quickly became clear that management cared little for employee well-being or morale. If you value your career, sanity, or professional growth, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. The company is in a freefall, and unless there is a complete overhaul of the leadership team (which I honestly doubt), it’s only a matter of time before things collapse completely. My experience here was a wake-up call, and I strongly warn anyone considering employment to look elsewhere. This company is broken, and the leadership team is incapable of fixing it.

Depending on your luck, you might get a decent manager in the bunker. Unless you get an ex-prison team lead that still thinks the Arc Bunker is the prison he's guarding... Other staff doing the same job as you are all fantastic, but unfortunately, stuck in the same boat with terrible management.

Minpunten

Management has 0 communication, gatekeeping all changes and making mad decisions that effect everyone except themselves. Need to give 28 days notice for AL but the company will give you 3 days notice of changes they've made to your shifts without asking you. Got health issues? Good luck with that, recommended by Occupational Health to do reduced hours, told by the head of the department "we don't do that anymore" while she herself was on 4-day workweeks. Got asked several times in a meeting "What other health conditions do you have", "Are you sure there are no other health conditions", "is there anything your not telling us about your health conditions". Management is pushy, borderline aggressive and has 0 people skills. Every single team is always short-staffed, and you will be regularly be asked to work 12-18 hour shifts to cover the next team, even though every single bank holiday I worked we were short-staffed and got 0 help. Had to leave an hour and a half early, the manager grilled me on why (family emergency that I explained) then eventually said okay fine, like a huffy child that hasn't got to say no and boost his ego. The next day came in to the little manlet cornering me in the small workspace and telling me how the hour early shouldn't have been authorised and it won't again. There's that ego. Handed my notice in, got 0 response from management, not even an acknowledgement of resignation - just got removed from chats and emails blocked the same day. No bother, didn't even want to say good working with you to my colleagues. For anyone looking to apply, as every team is always short-staffed, they are looking to swap to a 12-hour shift, over 4 days, with 2 night shifts always on the last 2 days. So good luck trying to get any sort of social life, sleeping pattern or routine as every single week is going to be a complete guess to what you're doing.
