New Ownership took over about 6 months ago. There have been several changes that have improved both customer and employee experiences. Lots more care about details and lots more listening and improvement. It seems this new owner has made investments and they are paying off. Aside from the paycheck, customers really love the service we provide, and that definitely makes coming into work enjoyable! New owner has also been expanding, but at an even pace so that we haven't had any issues with maintaining our delivery schedules and quality levels (knock on wood!).
Minpunten
We are busy, and now even Fridays (which used to be slowest day of the week) are fairly busy now. The new owner tries to keep everything balanced, but it must be a challenge.
Initially I enjoyed the work and the steady flow of projects even though the pay is subpar to industry standards for a certified writer, but I liked the idea of some new projects. I enjoyed the clients I worked with, and the writing I got to do.
Minpunten
The guy who runs this company is like a used car salesman. And like Facebook - who changed its name to avoid accountability. He wooed me in with promises that never came true despite working there over a year and producing 200+ resumes - and he is condescending. I'm pretty sure all the wonderful reviews on here are him - the writing sounds just like his writing and he uses tons of exclamation points in his communications. I don't see how he's had 37 wonderful reviews because in the year that I worked there I only worked with 2 other writers the whole time. He simply does not run a large company - it's basically him and 2-3 contract writers. Other cons include low pay, promises of bonuses that never came true despite stellar service and reviews, and lack of advancement of any kind.
