Plenty of OT definitely can pick up LOTS of skills. It depends on YOU as the worker/contractor if you had the drive to do things without someone explaining it to you and correctly that gets you noticed. Almost of the production staff were more than willing to show you the procedure to a job but if you cant listen to verbal instruction or replicate what is shown in front of you then dont bother them. Many are happy doing what that they do and nothing more, that the majority of the production line they would be fine with repetitive tasks. Me i was able to move around interact with others and learn how things operated in the company They were all cool, from QC, the techs, all the staff no matter ur race or skin color you were still treated with respect If you wanted to work they will throw at you everything till you were worked. Which never happened with me, the work was to easy. \
Minpunten
The position you were hired as will be the same as when you leave. raises/ promotions/ bonuses those are words of salary employees. direct hires have 0 incentive to learn the new skills because @ at end of the day you worked more but the check doesn't reflect it. It gave many reason to just put the bare minimum and when 8 hour shift hit they would vanish If your looking to make bank it aint here, even with OT and doing Saturdays!! you would get over a grand weekly which is not bad but considering you can do better elsewhere it wouldn't justify being the person your supervisor would depend on to stay late and finish someone else work. Every worker on the assembly line is easily replaceable. lack of communication and leadership is none existent. Upper management lacks to understand how things are done. They could raise quota as much as they want but the fact of the matter is you can only have xx produced in a given day ($$$ will get more produced) there is no proper planning for the next day they focus on the now and not the future. No one knows who is calling the shots or making decisions. Its so weird its almost as if its done overseas. You can have a solution to every problem but the problem is in management, which they cant manage due to no proper structuring. Management cant be direct with its contractors when it comes to comes to bad news. There quietly always trying to figure how to get rid of their weaker employees to free up their bonuses . Their sneaky, they'll have you train a new hire oblivious that its your replacement. As a result once they believes you have passed on your knowledge, they'll call the agency and terminate your contact much sooner
