EDUCAUSE serves higher education IT leaders and professionals while also engaging a wide range of stakeholders dedicated to advancing higher education through technology. Associations are constantly challenged in terms of balancing member needs with available resources, especially as those needs evolve. EDUCAUSE works hard as an organization to keep its events, research, and programs aligned with current and emerging member needs, but timing the end of legacy activities with the launch of new innovations is not always a smooth process. As a result, staff are challenged at times to manage the maintenance or wind-down of legacy efforts while getting new projects off the launch pad.

EDUCAUSE allows a flexible work schedule with a strong emphasis on work-life balance. Employees are given a good level of autonomy and trusted to manage their responsibilities without micromanagement. My management team is supportive and open to ideas and offer opportunities for growth and skill development.
