At times, extremely heavy workloads and long hours (often balanced with times of less stress). High levels of travel mean that you aren't home much. Due to a generally young average age for employees, you will find a wide range of professional behavior in colleagues. Some will be highly professional but some not so much. You need to be proactive in relating the professional development you do at Epic to more general fields, there is a risk of leaving Epic with very specialized skills that are limiting in a job search.
