Pluspunten

- Well capitalized from Tier 1 Investors (GIC, BCap, Altimeter, Accel, Tiger) - Can do well during a bull market cycle but lack predictable revenue in a bear market makes sustainability difficult. - Lots of smart mid-level and junior employees who are really the backbone of the business making the day-to-day possible.

Minpunten

- Zero diversity and inclusion and the leadership team is almost entirely male. Look on LinkedIn to validate very few female leaders and a lack of focus on hiring diversity at the company. - Implicit bias runs rampant among the senior leadership team in promotions, departures, and hiring. - Severely overvalued in the private market in the latest equity round compared to true fair market valuation. Heavily discount any equity offered. - Lots of difficulties scaling because of lack of investment in infrastructure. Still be running as a Series-A startup in the people leadership, processes in place, and scotched products taped together. - RECOMMENDATION: Do your due diligence by reaching out to current employees with >1 year to understand the land minds hiding below.

Pluspunten

Lots of ownership from day one. You get to work on real problems that matter, not busy work. Super smart teammates, and you learn fast just by being around them. If you want to grow technically and professionally, this is the place

Minpunten

Fast-paced, priorities shift sometimes. Not for people who want a slow, predictable environment. in-office culture but office is nice and good office perks (free lunch, unlimited snacks fruits etc and they take requests too)

You get to work with some smart people in a fast moving industry

Minpunten

-There is favoritism based on race at this company, not two ways about it. -The company will be sold in the next two years. The CEO moved to Texas to avoid the taxes on the transaction. He says it's easier for him to get to the SF and NYC offices being in the middle of the country. That's not why CEO/founders move to Texas when all their employees are on one coast or the other. -Incredibly high amount of turnover. Many employees leave for better run companies in the space such at Anchorage, Galaxy, Coinbase, or Krakken.
