Very complex process that made each day a challenge and interesting. Large plant with a lot of custom equipment which made repairs and upgrades challenging. Great group of hourly people and floor level salary people. Unique product. Great potential both as a product and a business.

Management was dictatorial and didn't have a clue how to run the business. Management was trying to run the operation like it was an automotive parts manufacturer.. Management began gutting the operation due to budget issues laying off 50 salaried engineers, supervisors and managers. Then they started gutting maintenance. As a result a vast amount of institutional knowledge left the company. Efficiencies began to lag as no one knew who to do many of the functions that left with the institutional knowledge.
