Summer hours are decent as well as some overtime.
Minpunten
Where to start. The company values its processes over employees, when they feel like adhering to their processes anyway. The place is expanding into corporation level, but management still runs it as a small business which is absolutely not sustainable. Human resources in Canada is a complete joke and would rather lose good employees who have valid criticisms instead of increasing pay to those who are doing the work of two people. Speaking of that, two hard working quality inspectors left due to crap wages and literally the next day rewarded the rest of the department with multiple dollars raises. (Not saying those folks don't deserve it, but not everyone got a raise either.) Its the A and T show there, the VP thinks he's calling the shots, but he's really not. Hard to take him seriously with all the hot air he's filled with. No room for advancement. Poor wages for the area. Empty promises. Brown nosers bringing flowers and random gifts to supervisors then getting people fired. I could go on and on and on. The place is a headache and not worth the almost minimum wage. I can't believe people just don't walk out, they would definitely get through to management that way because the kowtow to Kawasaki with ZERO pushback at the expense of the sanity of their employees, particularly the quality department.
