Minpunten

Grayce treats their employees as cash cows. They market their company as a graduate scheme that will help you develop skills in project and change management alongside completing examinations that you will be supported through. Unfortunately the reality could not be further from this. My first red flag was when I contacted a number of past employees who told that they do not like to associate themselves with Grayce and that I should think hard before accepting their job offer. I mistakenly shrugged this off. Grayce expects analysts to fill out an ‘Engagement Summary Document’ every month with the guise that our managers wanted to keep up to date with our progress and how they could help in our new role. However it was very clear that the document was a sales tool to give client information to Grayce in order to sell them more analysts. Not only this but a number of clients where unhappy with this and when I approached my manager regarding this I was told to keep it a secret from the client. This put me in an extremely awkward situation. Essentially Grayce where asking me to break my clients business security rules. Grayce where also very disconnected with Analysts wellbeing. I was moved a number of times due to contracts ending. Some locations meant that I was travelling 4 hours a day to work and costing a small fortune in commuting fees and actually resulted in financial difficulty. This caused me a lot of stress. I was also lied to on a number of occasions on the length of contracts with clients, being told they were shorter then what they were and therefore wouldn’t have to commute for a long period of time. For a particular client I also felt I was extremely underqualified. I raised these concerns with my manager suggesting I needed further training however it was brushed off with ‘buzz words’ and inspirational speeches. I always try my upmost in all challenges however when the client pays £60 000 - £80,000 a year an analyst they are expecting someone who has much more experience then a year as a project analyst. There is a big turnover of staff within Grayce. Analysts are seen as disposable and staff are quickly fired. If you have any complaints or criticisms you are made to feel as though you are being difficult and you are the problem. A number of times I tried to tell my manager how unhappy and uncomfortable I left however I was shouted over. On coffee meet ups we would normally discuss the clear disregard for employee rights and the regular issues Grayce would have with clients. I heard a number of stories regarding clients wanting to buy analysts out of their contract. Of course Grayce would very rarely allow this as they could no longer make money out of you and where not concerned with the development of their employees. The proof of how deceptive Grayce really is clear from the fake reviews on this page. The majority of the 4 star and 5 star reviews are written by managers claiming to be analysts. Buzzwords used throughout reviews and one bad review followed by 4 immediate good reviews makes this clear. I look back at my time with Grayce and feel shaken. I have worked for a number companies have never seen staff treated as badly as Grayve treats their employees. For me, even with the leaving fee, it was not worth my mental health which began to suffer as a result for working for Grayce. My only regret is that I did not listen the original advice given to me. Always be concerned about a compact that is continuously advertising for staff in the same role..

We’re sorry you were disappointed with your experience at Grayce. Grayce is committed to the development of change leaders of the future through the Development Programme, which is coupled with real on-site client experience with FTSE 100 and 250 companies nationwide. Analysts and Clients are extremely vital to the success of the business, without client demand we simply would not be able to support hundreds of graduates wanting a platform to start their career in change. Grayce is a growing business and as we evolve we appreciate all feedback so that we can continuously improve. In fact, one of our previous annual employee surveys highlighted the Engagement Summary Document that you reference, as a result of feedback we were able to remove this process. We take our relationships with clients seriously, all engagements and employees are under non-disclosure agreements. Delivery Managers will work with Analysts to understand more about projects and programmes for a number of reasons. First to understand the scope of work our Analysts are undertaking and to be able to offer guidance where needed, and secondly to understand if our clients need additional support in their organisation, and if it is something Grayce could help with. As explained, the more client demand, the more opportunities we can offer to graduates commencing their careers. We work extremely hard to create a positive and engaged community, with several Analyst led initiatives, fully supported by our Head Office team. As far as client engagements go, we consult with Analysts to understand their preferred region and work to build the opportunity based on their preference. Client location can vary, as can the length of project which means that throughout your time on the Programme you’ll have the opportunity to gain experience in multiple environments. From our annual employee survey, 98% of our Analyst population stated that they have made a significant step forward in their professional development since joining Grayce. We do however acknowledge that this way of working doesn’t suit everyone, which is why we’ve improved our selection process to truly understand what our candidate’s career goals are. As a people business we are passionate about the development of our Analysts, and furthermore we believe in the capability of all our people. We’re sorry that you felt that your concerns weren’t acknowledged, and you felt you couldn’t perform in your role. We do believe that we’ve made positive improvements as we mature as a business, we hope we’ve been able to clarify a few points for you, however if you want to discuss this in further detail, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us, you can call us on 01625 610 991 and any one of the team would be available to talk.

Pluspunten

- Coming out of college at a time where it was hard to find a job in product, Grayce helped me gain access to client opportunities and trainings that kickstarted my career - Really amazing company culture - Great work life balance - Opportunities to work on-site for big name clients - They pay for many industry recognized trainings and certifications - Constant emphasis on growth and development. Very supportive environment - Working there set me up to find my next role in just a year

Minpunten

- Low salary but they pay for your trainings. Felt worth it for me to get the experience I needed - Smaller base of US employees (but they are actively expanding) - May have to spend time on the bench in between clients but they give you internal projects to work on

Pluspunten

if you are having hard time to find a job in a big corporation and etc. , this can be your place. good to gain experience.

Minpunten

they don't seem very professional, maybe because they just expanded to the US. Salary is pretty low, too. and no guarantee that you will be working constantly. you may be in the bench (you still keep getting the salary tho)
