But instead, have done a fantastic job of acting as soulless puppets to buffer between 58.coms demands and anyone who is unfortunate enough to still work at Gumtree in the UK. What made Gumtree special does not exist anymore. The ethos of recycling goods and connecting communities is dead. The future vision looks like the UK answer to Alibaba.com Utterly disappointing and demotivating.
