Steady work that is constant and you are trained for. Occasional overtime that is never mandatory. The owner releases employees sometimes an hour early on some major holidays and does spring for a lunch celebration at least once each year. Products seem to be made well by employees and they are always striving to do better.
If you are sick or have an emergency they will not hassle you for not coming in unless you take advantage of the company. They usually hire only the employees they need so too many people being out does hurt the production cycle.
Minpunten
The main issue has always been people telling the supervisor that a new employee did something. They took a pen out of the front cabinet to use for work, they went to the restroom before break (like you can really hold it for 15 minutes), and any number of petty things - the list seemed endless. It is unnecessary and causes employees to become dissatisfied. A few women are downright rude.
I think $15.00 an hour was a great salary at one time but it isn’t as outstanding anymore.
