Pluspunten
- Coworkers were great - That’s literally it but this review is asking for a 20 word minimum and I have nothing more to add
Minpunten
- Was a half decent place to work for a long time but started taking a nosedive around April 2017 - CEO preaches “no more overtime” and “more time for families” but artists are consistently asked for 12 hour days and 7 day weeks for months - CEO also talks about transparency between management and artists, but secrets are whispered in hushed tones in corners and no one knows anything - Company was given a multi million dollar grant to hire a ton of new people in Toronto. Company hired the required amount of people to get the money (a couple hundred), fired them just before the end of their probation, and then very suddenly announced they were opening a brand new studio in China - Company pushed for an entirely new workflow as multiple shows were rolling in and it failed miserably because you can’t teach an entire studio a completely new workflow while also trying to work on several shows and train 200 people at the same time - They want too much too fast and offer nothing in return - Raise system makes no sense. Artists who have only been there for a few months and actively don’t care about their jobs will get raises before committed artists who have been there for years - Lays off large groups of artists with the promise that they will all be hired back when the time comes which to be blunt is honestly just a huge lie
