Pluspunten
Read the full review, while the company is awesome to work at, has some CONS it really needs to address.
I see many negative reviews about the company, all coming from employees who were fired because of poor performance/untrustworthy/bad influencers. Company holds a very high standard.
PROS: Company is a graduated startup in every way. It has been a great experience for me, coming with a few years of experience from a large company, I always wanted to see how things got built from ground up. If you are serious about making a change, this company gives every opportunity to do so. I got to understand how Indian culture works (had to take many late night calls though) and people are very nice to work with. CEO is highly aggressive and visionary, although I got to interact with him only on some occasions, he motivates you really hard! Some managers including mine, were very supportive of our needs and always pushed me to think differently. You really get to work with various tech stacks. When I joined, company had more than 60% of employees who were working more than 5 yrs, which was a strong factor for me. Indian colleagues had more perks than us here in the States, like free lunch, commute reimbursement, etc.
Minpunten
Some managers are tough (although mine was very supportive) which may demotivate sometimes. Not many perks in the States, except health insurance and free snacks. No 401k. Performance reviews are held once a year, although I’ve seen some get 2-3 jumps a year. Intense working environment that may harm some employees looking for work/life balance. Deadlines are sometimes very aggressive which pushes employees to stretch beyond normal working hours.
