Working at OpenFeel enables me to learn a lot of things. The opportunity to be involved in full SDLC cycle allows me to explore many things. Being a software engineer, it is very important to have a clear understanding on the project being worked on, and I'm impressed at how the company keeps proper documentations of each project that they have, from their design specifications, bug tracker, user guide and even coding guidelines. This helps to keeps things organized and make maintenance easy. It's also interesting to work with their clients which include private and government sector. I've explored a number of technologies while I worked there.
Minpunten
Not really much to say.

I stumbled across the site and was curious on the ratings of my current and past companies. Noticed that the rating for OpenFeel was unjustifiably low. I have benefited well from my work with the company, and hope to contribute my experience and comments. I worked in OpenFeel for around 5 years in software engineering. I must say it is really the best career choice I have made. I have moved on to other companies subsequently. The experience I had from the company served me really well for my career in software development. From the beginning of my work with the company, I was given responsibilities and tasks that I handled independently. The management gave me regular feedback on how well I am doing, especially at the beginning. That provided me guidance. One for my experience there is I am able to get a good and full exposure of the SDLC. I have exposures to requirements gathering, design formulation, meeting clients, development (of course), testing, user testing, documentation, etc, etc... I get a really complete view of how a full project is like. Something which through my experience else where and also from my circle of acquaintance, isn't common. And the company does project for government and private companies. So there are exposures to different industries as well. This is a small company. And the management tries to build a close team. I can easily talk to the management or have discussion with anyone in the team. I was able to have direct technical discussion with the management and have my inputs taken in. Will try to keep it short and stop here. Definitely hope more people will step forward to contribute their positive experience to give the company a proper rating.
Minpunten
Having said all these, the company or the work (and for the matter I feel it is applicable for all other companies on software development) will not be suitable for someone that simply does not have the ability in software development, or have the right work attitude. This isn't a large decaying company where incompetent worker can just hide somewhere and try to get by. So I guess if if someone don't have the right work ethics or abilities, this should be considered a Con. But for someone with abilities and right work ethics, this is a good place to be.
