Pluspunten

Great and supportive colleagues. Good work hours and family friendly work hours.

Minpunten

Top 10 "Con's" 10 - Firm Fixed Salary - what you get when you agree to work for Premier is what you will be making for the lifetime of employment. 9 - Management Policy is that your supervisor/manager is not allowed to give a letter of recommendation (under any circumstance). 8 - Layoff's happen yearly to semi-yearly with no advance notice. Last layoff, of 15+ people, was one week before Thanksgiving. 7 - No severance pay offered. 6 - Earned vacation hours are not paid out if you are picked for the layoff. 5 - Can, and most likely will, be fired if owner or management finds out you are looking for other employment. 4 - Employees don't matter. Common attitude "There are 10 guys in line for your job." 3 - Moody and vindictive owner will have you fired if you do ANYTHING to make him/her mad. 2 - No-experienced family members are being promoted to experienced employees positions that were laid off. AND THE NUMBER ONE "CON" TO WORKING AT PREMIER 1 - No money for raises (even cost of living raises) yet the owner, in his speech at the Company Christmas Party, brags about his $10,000.00 per day hunt.

Pluspunten

90% of the people at Premier are nice and welcoming.

Minpunten

Reactive instead of proactive: Problems are always patched at the last minute instead of being fixed properly, which creates repeat issues. Lack of investment: The company avoids upgrading systems/tools even when they’re clearly outdated or broken. Poor communication: Employees are often left in the dark about changes until after they happen. Micromanagement or neglect: Depending on the day, leadership is either hovering unnecessarily or completely absent. Low morale and high turnover: Many talented people leave because of the environment. No career growth: Raises, promotions, or professional development are rarely supported. Hostile leadership: Owners/managers have been known to yell or curse at staff and customers. Disorganized priorities: Efforts are scattered — lots of “firefighting” instead of long-term planning.
