Pluspunten
This company gives me the opportunity to take personal responsibility for my own actions. When I work hard and do what I'm supposed to, I am rewarded. When I slack off, play around, and don't do what I'm supposed to, I am punished. The rewards and punishment come in the form of higher pay, bonuses, and opportunities. The punishments come in the form of lower compensation, lack of bonuses, and fewer opportunities. It's like one long episode of My Name is Earl. I came from a career in the U.S. Army where everyone works together to "embrace the suck". Although the proverbial "suck" at this job may be the temperature outside or the long hours put in, the team environment I miss so much from the military exists here and is exactly what I want in a career. The growth here is very clear and outlined very well. The thing I really enjoy is that if someone wants to come in and just sell, then they can do that. If someone wants to grow and progress, they can do that too. There is a place for all different types of professionals here.

I drive my own car to all the leads. I have a ton of experience in third-party outside sales and this is essentially the standard, but it still puts some wear on little red (my Carolla). This job is very challenging for someone's mentality and attitude. I come from a very physically demanding background in the Army. I thought I was used to hard work.
