I started at SSC over 17 years ago after graduation. From the beginning, SSC's ownership and management has provided an opportunity to learn and advance my career.
As an employee-owned firm, there is hands-on management from the ownership group for each project. This encourages great communication between all employees and access to a wealth of experience.
The culture at SSC is to provide friendly, personal service to the owner, architect or contractor while providing a quality product. Maintaining quality and putting in the hard work required is rewarded.
Along with attention to the clients, there is also an employee focus to keep the atmosphere fun with annual chili cook-offs, pot lucks, holiday decorating contests and much more. This promotes a small firm feel.
Finally, as a parent of two young children, the flexible work schedule is important to me. It allows for a good work/life balance.
