Pluspunten
A very small number of people who actually support others, but not enough to change the situation at signal
Minpunten
Now, more than ever it feels important to share my experience at Signal. As a person of color I noticed that I was the only one who started at the same time as other non people of color who did not get a promotion and had to fight for a small salary bump in that I literally mentioned the diversity issue. There are only 3 people of color out of 36 employees on Signal's website. This has been the case even before my time. In my experience, as a person of color working at Signal, I was literally yelled at (no exaggeration) , bullied, made to feel like I was wrong for asking for a Friday evening off (and I had to ask) was made to work nights, weekends, no lunch, constantly working to benefit those non-people of color who made a lot of money off of the work that I did. I lost count of how many times i got requests on a Friday at 5:45 pm saying "I need this by COB Saturday" - What is COB on a weekend? And if you spoke up, people would complain about you to you boss or to others - they would say that you were a problem and had a problem with tone... "too aggressive" for simply speaking up. I have never before and never again had this experience, it was the first time I felt racially targeted. I never want to relive this experience and never want any person of color to join this team and have this experience. do better. Do not mistreat people while you make money off of their work.
