Pluspunten
The work/life balance is the best reason to work at Silverpop (in certain departments) Rarely will you have to work a a lot of hours, or on weekends.
It can be a fun place to work and they try to keep the company informed and have morale boosting activities.
You are free to work without being micromanaged, but this comes at a cost (see cons.)
If you are the type that likes to come to work, put in your hours, and go home not think about work then this is the place for you.
Minpunten
The benefits are abysmal and have gotten worse than when I first started.
Pointless self-appraisal process as it does not correspond with compensation or promotions (this is supposed to change.)
Middle management is out of touch with the day to day activities of their direct reports this may be more true for some departments more than others (aforementioned in pros.)
High turnover rate for a company this size. Many talented people are leaving to grow their careers because there is no growth or career path from within.
Product management is wishy-washy, you never know what you're going to be working on next, or what the direction is. A lot of hard work is discarded or just scrapped because of a constantly changing product plan.
