You get hours sometimes...that's about it

Minpunten

Working with carcinogens when an owner is too cheap to buy proper PPE. Being nitpicked by people who can't even get their own hands dirty...typical cultlike "trust the process" brainwashing. Lots of devilcorp vibes. Unless you really need something to pay the bills, steer clear. Not a healthy or prosperous field. No long term prospects either. Dead end.

If you don’t like to work much and just want to say you’re employed. Sometimes the other techs are cool

More than I can count. Pay sucks. No raises. No benefits. No healthcare. Harsh chemicals. No safety. OSHA violations constantly. Callbacks. Improper training. Owners are greedy af. Rude and condescending. Will attempt to diagnose you. Autism is one they throw around for techs. Get angry when you don’t make them enough money for them to travel all the time and not run their company. Pick sides. Specifically the sides of the greedy sales people. Generally a terrible place to work. Extremely high turnover rate. ~10 employees come and go per year.
