Pluspunten
Coworkers were generally fantastic (sr-level devs and below). The product itself is a fantastic idea. I felt like I was building a product to help the common person instead of the typical gig.
Minpunten
Many in leadership roles on the tech side are good with tech and bad with people. Bonuses and profit-sharing were a constant moving goal line. 401k to start and that was cut. Profit sharing was changed to something unattainable (especially when most of the dev team was let go before Christmas so we could "focus on our families and not on work." There's a lot of talk of diversity and inclusion and values, but it feels more like lip service. Outside of the tech side feeling very mismanaged, when money started running out, leadership began blaming devs for shortcomings (the real shortcoming seemed more like an inability to secure meaningful funding and poor planning by those driving product design but we got the short end of the stick).
