Company been cutting head counts, it’s a bloated company on the top; virtually everyone has a senior title on the group level. But Senior level titles mean nothing, end up doing a lot menial stuff . ‘Tight-loose-tight’ is the worse culture ever, provides no coaching and you are expected to know everything with little training or guidance (you can learn on the job!); it also means that after all the hard work during the ‘loose’ time eventually you have to follow exactly what your big boss wants to the point you end up being dictated what to do and what to write. Work flexibility comes with conditions: ‘give and take - company gives but you have to also give something back’ and ‘flexibility means different in different cultures and location’. Do not question senior management, their word is final; giving feedback to the management is super difficult. End up spending a lot of time beautifying internal work for the senior management. Internal politics is rife.
