Visibility and credit of work is only given to the leads while the developers are considered mere working class. Most importantly, they follow FORCED Bell Curve for employee rating, which means that even if you are accomplishing all your goals, you may not even receive an average rating, causing all the employees to run a rat race. DO NOT believe the recruiters/HRs when they say that everyone gets at least an average rating. No! Only 50% employees can get the average rating. A very huge segment of your CTC is based on your rating. If your rating falls below average, you get no raise and a very small portion of your variable pay as well as RSUs.
