- Pace is what you expect from a startup - gets intense mostly because suppliers don’t always take you seriously, which can be frustrating and means we need to push harder for deadlines. We've had to get creative, strategise more - Docs and structure took a bit of time to catch up, but since hiring software engineers it’s improved massively - It’s demanding sometimes, but there’s flexibility on when and how you work as long as the job gets done

Highly committed team - the team is deeply aligned with the mission and focused on contributing and delivering. Low politics, minimal hierarchy - ideas are judged on their technical merit. Everyone has a voice and ultimately physics decides.

Fast paced - a pro and a con - the pace can be energising but is not for everyone, which can make hiring and onboarding challenging. Evolving priorities - priorities can shift and everyone has to keep up. requires proactive, clear, and fast communication to stay aligned. Resource constraints - although hiring is a big priority, new joiners are expected to ramp quickly and contribute meaningfully.
