Great pay, friendly people. strongDM definitely has some talented people working within its ranks. These are people that bring amazing ideas to the table and truly want to make sure their customers are successful. They pay extremely well as they do not offer some perks other startups offer. The benefits are ok.
Minpunten
Overbearing management, intimidating management, micro-management. strongDM has a management issue. Interviewing was a task. The CEO/Co-Founder will go to great lengths to intimidate you during your interview. She is CEO and Co-Founder and she wants you to know that from the get go. Other management including the other Co-Founders are easier to work with and do not have issues of being overbearing in this way. With that in mind however, your work output will be scrutinized in some form or fashion. Even if you use your managers own words. And this did in fact happen several times to different people. The control issues that management has with the exception of one manager, will weigh on you heavily and you will most likely start to challenge and question your own abilities. Which is sad, because you were hired based on your abilities and past experience.
