Even though the position was a Sr Manager -- and I have 20+ years experience - I was given a "homework" assignment more suitable for recent grads and interns. If I was interviewing for CFO, would they have given me a math quiz?

I tried to answer in far more detail than was asked. After I was told I would not be moving forward, I politely asked for feedback Not only was I not given any, they wouldn't even respond to tell me it was against their policy not to give feedback (something I later learned from Glassdoor). Maybe I rejected because of age? Minder

You were not rejected because of age. I was hired by Tableau at 58 years of age, and there are lots and lots of gray-haired people around. It is the friendliest situation for people in their 50's and 60's and even 70's that I have ever encountered in my long, long career :). Minder
why do you want to leave your current company?

My current company is quite good, and I love it. I want to leave her, because the position is a bit lower to me, and there are so many colleagues, it will cost me a long time to promote a higher one. Minder
