I don't think that question is legal. You're not supposed to factor in family and personal factors in your hiring decisions, the candidate isn't even required to disclose the fact he/she HAS a family. Minder

Working night shift means I am there during the day to help with child are and house work what is brilliant. I am also taking additional supplements to support my body during this change and of course I have specific times to sleep. It's great!!! Minder

I would calm the person down by saying I'm sorry this has happened what can we do to fix the problem. Then I would suggest we bring the supervisor to settle the matter along staying as friendly and concerned as possible Minder

no I do not. (the interviewer made it very obvious that some of the other lady's who worked the desk had children and that they had a hard time making the schedule around when these lady's could work. I dont think that having kids wont get you the job but I think they definitely take it into consideration because sometimes you have to work swing shifts or cover other shifts that you didn't plan on and kids get in the way of someone being able to do that most of the time. Also it turns out one of the lady's will bring her kids in and let them play in the lobby while she is working. The manager is lenient about it but I don't think they appreciate it too much) Minder
