Now this hotel is looking for an all-round receptionist and is offering you the chance to roll up your sleeves and make sure each guest has an unforgettable time!

Internship;

During your internship you’ll turn into a fulltime receptionist – learning all the skills that are needed for your future career. You are the face of the company and main contact person for guests in need. Not only will you provide guests with a smooth check in and out procedure, you also provide them with the hotspots of Antwerp. In addition, you make sure reservations are well booked, you will be responsible for breakfast and you have no problem with the relevant tasks of starting up or closing the reception.

Profile student;

This hotel is looking for a highly motivated intern who takes a warm and welcome approach to guests. You feel responsible for and are involved in the events that occur at the hotel. Last but not least, the word ‘problem’ is not to be found in your dictionary.

Language;

• English and Dutch
• Extra language is a plus

Daily tasks;

• Welcome guests and provide them with useful information about Antwerp
• Perform check in and check out of guests
• Answer all questions from guests
• Make reservations (for conferences) and make sure they are executed
• Set up breakfast and help during breakfast
• Prepare invoices for accommodation
• Prepare statistical daily reports
• Answer the phone
• Start up/shut down tasks of reception

You are;

• Enthusiastic, motivated and flexible
• A person who spontaneously welcomes guests and likes to inform them about the hotel, services provided and of course the city.
• Familiar in working with a computer
• Problem solving and cooperative, you show commitment
• Socially proficient and open to feedback
• Interested in the proficiency
• Multilingual: English and Dutch are required. Knowledge of German and French is an asset.
