Pluspunten
Great clients where I was integrated into their inhouse teams. I worked on fascinating projects with real tangible results. I had heaps of speaking oportunities. On the whole nice colleagues, especially in the Europe office where I was based.
Minpunten
Senior management was almost entirely male, except for support staff (marketing and administration). The time I was there, only one other woman at my level in an adjacent practice (11 people at my level). We were pit against each other regularly. I was told on many occassions that she was on her way out (I assume she was told the same about me). Rife with sexism. Rife with colonialism. I was asked to speak more "formally", which meant adjust my accent to sound more British. I am not British.
