- No sense of company culture
- No sense of diversity: as most American firms, Lux Research prides itself on being diverse and inclusive but the reality is quite the opposite. Employees based in Europe and Asia have significantly less voice within the company, and are generally benchmarked against performance standards of corporate America (being outspoken and working extra hours are almost a must). The result is significaly less growing opportunities for those based outside of the U.S. Those in Asia will also suffer from a poor work-life balance resulting from the need to constantly adapt to American schedules
- Random promotions: the aforementioned qualities are most likely to lead to a promotion than the delivery of high-quality research
- Stressful environment: most employees are overworked and turnover is high across all teams.
- Overall poor management
