      Pluspunten

      Working at Verve for multiple years, I can only say how much I enjoy it. Of course, management isn’t perfect and has its flaws, but I also see how much effort they put into leading the company in the right direction. My team is amazing and very supportive, and the overall culture makes it a great place to work. The work–life balance is very good. The company really respects your time, connecting outside office hours is avoided, and it’s rare to receive emails during the weekend. On top of that, there are plenty of perks: Wellness Days, free lunches on office days, mental health support, and some other benefits.

      Minpunten

      Communication from top management could be stronger. We do have regular town halls, which are helpful, but during bigger events, like a RIF, it would be good to gather everyone and clearly explain the strategy behind the decision.

      This is not a people-first company.

      Like in any company, some people are smart and nice to work with, you just need to find your "match". Some colleagues are knowledgeable, focused and helpful, with good understanding of goals and how to achieve them. There are really interesting and challenging projects. Top management seem to have a solid vision for the business and implement it.

      Minpunten

      Overall culture isn't good and not people oriented. Top-down, micromanaged culture with disturbingly slow processes. Subordination and good relationship with manager is valued over professionalism, expertise and efficiency. Speaking up is discouraged. Very US-driven culture without understanding European mentality and values. HR policies are not people-focused. Career growth almost impossible.
