Once that was explained, there was no apology given, just the next question of "what are you going to do to solve that?". -They're expectations of the top performers at the firm have constantly moving goalposts, don't ever think that you are doing enough to meet their expectations (they say as much as part of their reviews, nobody gets a 5, a 4 is for those people working at a level above their current position and a 3 is what everyone should anticipate). -You are not afforded the opportunity to learn a job after being promoted. If you want to move up the ladder at 360, you need to learn how to do the job at the position you want to move into before you get promoted to that position.
