- no significant training or experience given to auditor for detailed audit testing, 90% of reports have the exact same controls and test scripts. A director of sales even described the firm as an "audit mill." - poor pay and raises in the 1-3% range even with no negative feedback, positive and above and beyond performance is disregarded. - bonuses are opaque, salary is bundled together and then bonuses are distributed by senior management discretion - bonus policy was disregarded as bonuses were withheld from the busy season of 2020 with a promise to pay in March 2021. bonus policy states a portion of the bonuses to be paid in September of busy season and the remainder in the following March - no work life balance, auditors are scheduled for more than 40 hours routinely in the year not just during busy season - unlimited PTO is a lie, senior management actively discourages employees from taking PTO by heaving loading schedules and denying PTO requests as employees are already "booked" even with advance notice - promotions were promised to staff and seniors as an incentive to stay on with the firm instead of taking another offer, and senior management failed to follow through and then asked those same employees to post job openings for the same positions that were promised as promotions - favoritism in management teams which impacts promotions - senior management actually directed managers to leave negative yearly feedback during reviews despite whether performance was negative or not - poor retention rate as employees are undervalued and unrewarded

We are sorry to hear about your negative experience and can assure you that we take performance reviews seriously at A-LIGN, which is why we have implemented new and improved processes and procedures for documenting 1-1 feedback and OKR tracking in our 7Geese platform. After a challenging year of COVID, we have also reinstated and improved our benefits and encourage all employees to utilize them to help maintain a healthy work-life balance. Additionally, the breakdown of the SOC practice into smaller pods will allow for better feedback, performance management, efficiency and transparency among teams of staff and their managers.
