My manager makes us spend hours debugging problems in order to ensure its not something that will make him look bad. Micromanages the way employees write emails. - Career advancement is available only to butt kissers. There is no "pay for performance". The AMD way is just a fancy graphic that appears on the CEOs slideshow. It does not apply in day to day business. Manager controls who gets bonuses. If you don't kiss butt, you don't get anywhere. - Psychopaths who cannot manage their emotions and don't know how to behave in professional environments. Everyone will try to assert what little authority they have over you.
