Management let me go under the guise of having missed exactly 4 days during my 90 day probationary period (when I got sick with the flu, tried to tough it out, then picked up a secondary bacterial infection at work), I had doctor's notes to provide for documentation, finally felt better and came in only to be let go - but I am pretty sure it was due to a senior paramedic I worked with who told management I was mentally unfit for my job. Aetna, you could have at least been honest about why you were letting me go. They let me go 1 week prior to end of probationary period and being covered by the state for unemployment.
