Ever evolving technology. When you realize you are working in a building and for a company that is pushing the extreme margins of scientific research in all aspects; very humbling to be a part of this experience. Lot's of opportunity to work with many smart and brilliant individuals in this industry. More of the recent hires have relevant backgrounds and technical degrees to back that up. Continued company growth gives a sense of stability even though it's on the peak phase. Bonus program that's fair as compared to other companies in a similar field.

Cube farm. This is the worst expansion plan ever put together. Fast paced environment that at times seem fabricated to appear as such. Having a track record of proven success in your field is a curse be it the reason you were hired for the position. You come in thinking about the value you could provide and how excited you are to work with veterans hoping to learn the ropes, better understand the company politics and dynamics. As you settle into your role and after a month, a look and sense of overwhelming fear and panic would come across the face and body expressions of some “managers” – most of their titles, titular. In group settings, conference calls and team meetings it would begin. You would say something innovative that many in the room would agree with, and then you’d quickly be silenced. Then a “manager” would take the “stage” and begin spewing off a bunch of nonsense that he/she and everyone else around us knew was proverbial B.S. Gen Xers and Baby Boomers come to a workplace now filled with people that are in the same age range of their children. As such, they tend to take on a condescending, elitist attitude as if these “kids” couldn’t possibly know more than them. At the same time, in the back of their mind, they know that in many respects these kids know tremendously more than them. In the business world, Millennials are in many ways better suited to lead than their older counterparts. Why? The reason is simple. Millennials value authenticity. They know that shoving a boring, self-serving agenda down the consumers’ and suppliers’ throats won’t work, so they’re better suited to tell it like it is and find digestible business solutions.

Location is good and near freeway, they make a crucial technology for the world to function

Toxic environment. Selective enforcement, antisemitic DEI culture, tattle tale rat snitch employees, managers play favorites, managers move the goal post after you were supposed to earn a salary increase. too many foreigners in management and not enough americans. DEI is a joke and is run by a racist black women. Company will burn you and punish you for problems someoen else created and punish you for it despite no power to fix the issue yourself.
