Decent benefits, other than that i can’t think of anything nice to say.

Minpunten

Do not and I repeat DO NOT go to work for this company. Specifically, Ameristar in Tulsa Oklahoma. The stress alone was enough to cause physical health issues. They fire long tenured employees without cause. Management has said in not so many words “if you’re salary, we own you”. They will make promises upon hiring you but not follow through. If you are a woman or person of color I highly urge you not to apply. Global HR is no help and the local HR team, minus a few are extremely retaliatory if you report any misconduct or hostility. They tell employees to lie to customers about production issues and try to sweep unethical treatment under the rug.

Great people and environment. Location is convenient. Lots of company sponsored events.

Minpunten

No advancement opportunities. Company is very acquisition heavy but horrible with cross functional communication. Lots of surprises.

Workplace is toxic, dysfunctional, and psychologically draining. Management is the root cause of problems, fostering a culture that tolerates: Harassment Intimidation Favoritism and nepotism Sexism Employees are expected to remain silent and continue working under constant pressure. High levels of: Employee burnout Stress Overwork Turnover Human Resources protects the company and management rather than employees. Complaints are often minimized, ignored, or redirected without meaningful resolution. Issues are widespread and known by many employees, though some are reluctant to speak publicly. Prospective employees seriously reconsider working there, the company presents a positive image externally but has a deeply unhealthy internal culture marked by poor leadership, lack of accountability, and low employee well-being.
