I genuinely felt like I was living within a modern real life version of George Orwell's 1984. It is a Big Brother type set-up, with 10 minute slot timesheets, excessive numbers of meetings on a daily basis, and an absurd "no gossip" clause in the Contract designed to allow them to fire people just for communicating to their colleagues in any remotely negative way about the company or Management, despite the fact that when a concern is raised directly to a member of Management (as they insist it must be), that person completely ignores or dismisses the concern. This leads to a culture of false positivity, snitching and cringeworthy praise of the managing partners on a regular basis. The partners admire themselves and their achievements an unhealthy amount and never tire of listing their various awards, accolades or qualifications. I was asked to leave an Employee review when I had been there less than 2 weeks and had not even finished their training yet - this was a red flag. The other negative reviews from recent weeks are spot on. Never have I rolled my eyes or almost felt sick with the cringe of it all quite so many times in a day. I chose to leave after just 4 weeks and I felt immediately relieved and indeed healthier as soon as I had done so. Might be a good option for some people, but the people this company suits are not the type of people I would be able to work alongside...
