Minpunten
The company has a very high turnover rate. The majority of employees have been there less than 2 years. The owners have gone to court previously regarding allegations of toxic workplace environment, and they do not disappoint. Do not expect privacy, as computers, emails, desks, and even trash is searched based on owners’ whims. ‘Processes’ are based entirely on who is currently in favor with the owners, not on efficiency, especially as there is often a bottleneck of information between client-facing departments and production departments. If the owners like you, expect your job responsibilities to become a much longer list for little to no additional compensation, and micromanage if you are handling the additional work. If the owners don’t like you, expect the owners to badmouth you to other employees, and occasionally clients, as well as micromanage any work they may give you. In conclusion, if you’ve worked previously in the industry, don’t take the job. If you haven’t worked in the industry, don’t take the job. It’s not worth it. If you do risk it, check if there’s a non-compete in your offer letter, and beware. It’s harsh and they don’t play around with threatening legal action.
