Most of the problems stem from the owner being so involved with the company. There are no written policies, therefore rules change on an hourly basis. Lots of finger pointing. Very disorganized, specifically with caterings. There are always scheduling errors. The schedule runs Sun-Sat and the new schedule is posted less than 2 hours before close on Saturdays. No time off, not even to come in/leave a few hours later/earlier for a doctors appointment. It is viewed as a selfish act to request time off and as retaliation, your hours will be cut. Lots of missing money, tips and paychecks. Tips are not worth the stress of management and most of customers are 10% tippers (food runs about $10/pp, you can do the math). Not because service is bad, a lot of budgeting families, college kids, seniors and takeouts. Tips are also pooled and split with the back of house. No room for advancement. Hierarchy includes laborers, 1 manager at south store, owner. This is a get-in-get-out job.
