Pluspunten
Addus is a good job if you’re looking to get started in the healthcare industry and it is 100% remote if you work for corporate in Frisco TX. Over half the employees In the authorization department live in other states besides Texas including some members of management so do not be afraid to apply if you live out of state. The company recently implemented a monthly bonus program so that eligible employees could potentially make a couple hundred dollars IF the company meets its monthly revenue goals.
Minpunten
As stated, working for Addus is a good starter job but is not a company that I feel is conducive to building an actual career unless you are in executive management, not departmental management or a team lead. The pay is absolutely below the industry standard and is not competitive when compared against other home healthcare agencies in Texas. There is little to no room for growth at Addus. The benefits could also be better if plans were offered with lower deductibles and out-of-pockets.
