I am only staying because the company pays above market standard. Once a new opportunity presents, with a strong culture and purposeful values, I am out the door!

Minpunten

There's a few things that the company needs to change (and they are all very change-able) and please don't read this as though "he/she is just a disgruntled employee". In no specific order: 1) the company doesnt listen to its staff on the frontline, nor its customers. As a result the company tag of "arrogant" will remain. 2) the senior leadership team - in ANZ - are continuing to deteriorate the company's value, culture, market position and future success. There is no other reason for the company’s current position. There has been no strategy. The words that they SLT put up are just words. There are leaders that have been described as 'toxic', 'cancerous' 'selfish', 'non customer centric', 'egotistical and narcissistic'. The company will not achieve its desired goals until the APAC leadership team start questioning the capability and intent of the ANZ leadership team. APAC leadership spend more time in ANZ but don’t really get to the source of the issue - the local team cover up their own issues due to their incompetence and insecurity. They cannot be trusted. There is no plan and poor leaders with no plan. I’d rather no plan with at least good people! 3) Further to some of the above points, the SLT are not in front of the customer - NO commercial leader, is in front of the customer. How can they possibly be making the right calls and adapting to the situation when they aren't listening to the customer and sales team?

It used to be a good company who made a premium product, with smart coworkers, interesting tasks that involved a lot of math problems, with detailed code reviews. It still has generous PTO, sick days and a discounted lunch (in Raleigh office).

Minpunten

Management changed and there is an ongoing optimisation with hidden layoffs / force quits with no severance. Biased performance reviews with high expectations. Frequent goal changes and useless projects that will eventually be terminated and the whole team will be shuffled or dismissed. Complete delivery mess. Left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. Knowledge transfer sucks. The only way to understand the feature is to dig into the code (bad for newbies). New unqualified and arrogant low-level managers and team-leads, hide their uselessness on endless meetings, blah-blah-blahing with no real impact just to add visibility. A lot of stress, 5 days from office in an open space with no remote option even for new parents. The base is low with no stocks. Pro-Russian company, previously based in Moscow, relocated the whole office to the US and Europe due to sanctions during Russian-Ukrainian war (they recently laid-off a few Ukrainian guys).
