      Selfless, hardworking coworkers and competitive compensation.

      Minpunten

      Unsafe staffing ratios. Upper management is overbearing and uninterested in hearing input from bedside staff. No raises or bonuses due to hospital losing money. They allow physicians to verbally abuse nursing staff. Structurally, the hospital is (literally) falling apart. Hospital staff have to park far away (20 minute walk) while administration gets to park right next to the hospital. The cafeteria closes at 7pm. The health insurance through Altru is a joke.

      Altru has a strong mission and truly cares about the patients and communities it serves. Leadership communicates openly, coworkers are supportive, and there is flexibility that helps maintain work-life balance. It's rewarding to work for an organization where you can see the impact of your work.

      Minpunten

      Like many healthcare organizations, priorities can change quickly, which requires flexibility and adaptability. During periods of growth and change, processes may evolve and require teams to adjust.
