Most importantly they pay in the top 25th percentile (meaning better than the bottom 3 quarters of similar size and focused organizations in their area.

It can be a challenge for staff to manage in a quickly growing organization with an urgent mission.

Amazon Watch has an incredible amount of dedication to its goals. I've seen it grow and change over a few years, and the thing that keeps it going is a drive to actualize real change for the people who live in the Amazon rainforest.

At times, the lean and scrappy approach can lead to disorganization, but it's in the spirit of good work. You may need to take organization into your own hands in order to get the work environment that you want.
